Frequently Asked Questions

What time do you meet?

We also meet in smaller home-based groups during the week, in men’s (6:30 a.m.) and women’s groups (9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.) on Thursdays, and as students grades 6-12 on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m.

Where do you meet?
Fellowship Baptist Church is located at 1608 N Parker Road in Russellville, AR.

What should I wear?
Whether you dress in your “Sunday best” or jeans and a t-shirt, you’ll fit in.  Our desire and prayer for you is that you will you feel welcome and loved at our church. Come as you are!

What about my kids?
Greeters just inside the doors will help you find each of your children’s classrooms. We offer children’s ministry during both services for birth-5th grade. Birth-kindergarten attend their classes during the entire service.  1st-5th grade join the regular service for singing then go to class.  6th graders and older sit with their parents during the entire service. Fellowship has a strong desire to equip families to follow Jesus together. That’s why you’ll see a lot of families attending worship services together. God loves kids and so do we!

What else should I expect?
Because we are a Christian church, our worship service is uniquely focused on the person of Jesus Christ and His Word.  We begin our service by singing several worship songs together and then move on to a sermon time spent with our pastor teaching from the Bible. Our sermons are generally exegetical, meaning our pastor teaches directly from a passage of Scripture and helps us understand how it applies to our lives today.  We enjoy this time together for about an hour each week.
